Thank you for participating in the course "FRONT-END WEB DEVELOPMENT" is. We hope you will really enjoy this course, and true to its name, you will set yourself up to be the first website.

Through this course, we will lead you to set the first steps into the world of programming. Although this is the simplest form of programming, you will still learn a lot of things and that will be the foundation for you to learn good programming in the following subjects. Although now with the development of web technology, you can completely design a website that does not have to know programming, simply drag and drop operations. But that way you can just create the website according to the fixed form, if you want to control any component of the site according to their own, then you need to learn this sport.

Course structure:

Part 1: Introduction and working with HTML

- Introduction to the basic concepts related to website design; instructions on how to create a site structure based on HTML.

- Use the main source from Codecademy courses - HTML & CSS (UMass Amherst same - Journalism Online and W3Schools - HTML)

Part 2: Introduction and working with CSS

- Guide the stylesheet (decoration) components of the site; how to create a layout for the site.

- Use the main source from Codecademy courses - HTML & CSS (UMass Amherst same - Journalism Online and W3Schools - CSS)

Part 3: Introduction to JS JS And Fundamentals

- About JavaScipt scripting language, writing some simple scripts.

- Using resources from UMass Amherst main document - Journalism Online, W3Schools - JavaScript

Part 4: advanced JavaScript

- Introduce some advanced features of JavaScript. Manipulating HTML, CSS through JavaScript.

- Using resources from UMass Amherst Main - Journalism Online and Youtube
